HH: Hey Guys! How is the mood in the camp of Unearth? Did the pressure fall off from you?

Ken: Right now the unearth camp is awesome, actually it's the best it's ever been! We are really amped on the new record and now we can't wait to go out and perform again all over the world and show this one off! We are really proud!

HH: Your fourth album The March is now in stores! Is the title symbolic for a march into a new direction?

Ken: Well it is for everyone. The band, the world, everything and everyone! For the band we needed to make a record that we were happy with and push the level and talent of this band. We wanted to make a thrashy yet classic sounding metal record and we did. As far as the world goes, WW3 has already started and now countries need to partner up and handle all the world problems before it gets more out of hand!

HH: In my opinion the new material is more slow than on the releases before! Is this a change on purpose or has it just happened?

Ken: Its not any slower than before. The last album sounded excited but tempo wise I would put this one up there with stings and storm!

HH: Also your stuff is very melodic! Which influences has the music of Unearth?

Ken: Iron Maiden, Slayer, Pantera, Death, all the classics!

HH: Would you describe your music still as metalcore and how would you describe the band to a person, who has never heard of you?

Ken: I would call it METAL! Would you call Judas Priest, Pantera, Slayer, Megadeth Metalcore? Even though they all sound different they were never categorized, why should we be? We have influences in many different places: rock, metal, thrash, death metal, why limit us? We are a metal band and always have been!

HH: Are there any plans for a headlining tour? If yes, tell me more!

Ken: We just finished one with Protest The Hero, Acacia Strain, White Chapel, but we will be doing one later in the year!

HH: Which bands in the past inspired you so much, that you picked up an instrument and learned to play it?

Ken: The Beatles, Iron Maiden, Crowbar, Death, Anthrax, Megadeth, Cannibal Corpse, In Flames, too many to count!

HH: Do you have any side-projects, which you like to present to our readers?

Ken: I have a band in the making with Adam D from Killswitch Engage called Burn Your Wishes, and my new very secret girl crazy band called USA with past members from the band Waltham! It's gonna rule!

HH: Well, that's all! Thank you for your time and patience! The last words are yours!

Ken: Cheers! Thanks!
